Imagine being able to see all of your patient’s home blood glucose tests, on your computer, whenever you like. That is what the Eocene from Diamond does. How Do I Access the Results?
Anyone you authorize in the patients care team can have access to testing results. They can be accessed 24 hours a day through the Eocene website. You can view reports and graphs, print results, and copy to the patient's electronic medical record (EMR). What is required from the patient?
At the patients home Dimaond will assist is setting up the Eocene system. It is a very simple process, very similar to plugging in an answering machine. The patient needs only a standard telephone line. What is required from the physician / nursing agency?
Simply fill out a new account application. We will create a login and pass code for you. From there we can link patients to your account. All new patients that are referred to us will automatically be enrolled in the program and you'll begin receiving results immediately. You'll need a computer with internet access and a web browser to access your account. What does the system cost?
The Eocene web system is free to the physician / nursing agency and the patient. The glucometer and testing supplies are billed to the patients insurance according to their current reimbursement schedule. Co-payments and deductibles may apply. The system dials a toll free number, so there is no cost to the patient. What if I need help?
Once your account is set up, we'll arrange a time to walk you through the system. It is very easy to operate. Should you ever need help technical support is available 24 hours a day.
